On Monday our U 10 (b/c) cricket team defeated Grangemount. For many of our players this was their first opportunity to represent the school at cricket. We bowled extremely well and Grangemount managed to score 56 runs.  Ujesh S managed to run out one of their batters following an excellent throw at the stumps. Azaan M bowled and hit the middle stump to dismiss another of their batters.  Grangemount’s bowling was not as accurate and they bowled many wides that we could not hit. We did however manage to score 63 runs and win the match. Saahat S was our top scoring batsman after hitting our only boundary of the match. The match was played with a great spirit and I was very proud of our pupils’ behaviour throughout.
