On Thursday, the U11s beat St Augustines 9-1 in the league. A fantastic performance and we really passed the ball well. Goals by Will T (3), Aamran A (3), Alec C1, Isaac M 1, & Joseph P. Highlight was a cameo performance out of goal for Noah C and his overhead kick that unfortunately the goalkeeper saved.
Harry E was awarded a medal for his part in winning the Loughborough R.F.C U11 tournament. He played alongside Thomas C-DF and Harry H
Year 4 have just won the team trophy at the Dagfa School Cross Country at Wollaton Park – congratulations.

Mrs George commends all the boys for their effort but particularly Isaac M who , at the GSAL relays, had a large distance to make up, had to dig deep to catch up and then overtake other runners. Very kindly he also supported a younger pupil who was feeling nervous before the race.
Otto G was awarded a gold medal for the U9s at the semi-finals of the English Primary Schools Chess Association.
Hou Yu L participated in the Nottinghamshire ASA County Championships and came 3rd in his age group. He received a plague from Ollie Hynd MBE, a Certificate and 9 medals!

The Junior School received a certificate this week thanking us for our recycling contribution to the Police Aid Convoy.
