Achievement Assembly 25th January 2013

The weather was very challenging this week and it was good to see a lot of our boys and parents made it into school despite the conditions. This was an achievement in itself.

While the snow was fresh we were able to let boys and staff outside for some traditional fun, i.e. snowman building.  Games were called off again on Monday and our rugby season is beginning to suffer. Let us hope we have better luck next week.

Just a reminder that School will be closed next Monday 28th January for our Assessment Day.

This Friday was Achievement Assembly as usual.

Music:

Matthew  passed his trumpet  Grade 3 in the Music Examinations .

French:

George was awarded his certificate for his achievement in French.

Mathematics

These boys have achieved a thousand points each week and had clearly worked hard over the holidays as well. They were awarded their Gold Award Certificates. Well done boys.

Still with Maths we gave certificates to the boys who know their division facts and multiplication tables.

More good news about the mathematical ability of our pupils was that Toby and Alex have been selected to go through to the bonus round of the Primary Maths Challenge. This will take place on 6th February.

House Certificates:

House Bronze Awards presented to the boys for achieving over 300 House Points. Razeen was awarded his Silver Award for 500 House Points.

Student of the Week:

Student of the Week was given to Harry for his work and attitude in class.
